Each piece is meticulously crafted with durability in mind, applying more than ten layers of ottchil (traditional lacquer) by hand using a brush. You may choose the color of your preference. For custom orders with a specific color and quantity, the production process takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Cheyul is a Seoul atelier making lacquer and mother-of-pearl tableware, objects and jewellery by hand; made-to-order pieces can take 3–6 weeks.
