A scarf made in the studio from Hanjihee Classic's original fabric: muted chrysanthemum silk pieced diagonally into a jogakbo, auspicious and ten-longevity motifs drawn to show the embroidery texture, then printed on soft silk-like charmeuse satin. The pinwheel diagonal patchwork wards off evil from the four directions; the peony, butterfly, deer and turtle wish for health and long life. A Korean design not found on the high street, especially good as a gift for friends abroad. Not silk, but the satin carries the original's color and quality beautifully.
